HealthWave Hosted: How do I change my message script?

To edit your Flexible Applications: Messages phone script:
  1. Exit the Automation Center by clicking on Configure.
  2. Click the Flexible Applications: Message icon.
  3. After the Message Wizard opens, continue clicking Next until you reach the Message Preview screen.
  4. Select the script element you wish to edit and enter your changes (to ensure proper message delivery, do not remove the brackets from the practice name (e.g., [Greenbrook Healthcare]). To record your changes, select a script element and click the Record button*. Click Play to review your recording and click Play Message to review the entire message. Note: Edits to the Provider, Location, Phone, or Reason script elements must be made on the previous corresponding Wizard screens. The Name, time, and date script elements cannot be edited.

    1. If your message uses Text-to-Speech instead of voice recordings (Record will be disabled), enter your edits in the script box. Click Play to review your recording and click Play Message to review the entire message. If any words are mispronounced, try phonetically spelling those words or alter the spelling until it sounds correct.

  5. When finished, continue clicking Next until you reach the Congratulations screen. Click Finish to save your changes and exit the wizard.
  6. Relaunch the Automation Center by clicking on Automation from any HealthWave desktop view.
*Tip: Be sure to start speaking immediately after clicking Record and when finished, immediately click Stop. This will help prevent blank space from appearing at the beginning and ending of your recording.

To edit your Basic Applications phone script:
  1. Exit the Automation Center by clicking on Configure.
  2. Click the Basic Applications icon.
  3. After the Basic Applications Wizard opens, select the Application you wish to edit from the drop-down menu and continue clicking Next until you reach the Message Preview screen.

    1. If Use Text-to-speech is enabled, enter your edits in the script box. When finished, click Play Message to review your message. If any words sound mispronounced, try phonetically spelling those words or alter the spelling until it sounds correct.
    2. If Include patient name in message is enabled, double-click the appropriate fields to make edits to the script. If your message uses voice recordings (Use Text-to-speech will be disabled), be sure to re-record each line snippet you edited by clicking Record*. When finished, click Play to review your snippet and Play Message to listen to it in its entirety. If Use Text-to-speech is enabled, click Play Message to review your message. If any words sound mispronounced, try phonetically spelling those words or alter the spelling until it sounds correct.
    3. If Use Text-to-speech and/or Include patient name in message are disabled, click Record to record your message*. When finished, click Play Message to review your message.
    4. When you've finished editing your message, continue clicking Next until you reach the Congratulations screen. Click Finish to save your changes and exit the wizard. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as needed for additional applications.
    5. Re-launch the Automation Center by clicking on Automation from any HealthWave desktop view.
